Home seems much nicer when you've been away for awhile. I'm on 56k right now cuz my parents cancelled our cable; it makes me realize that I've been taking the super fast internet connection at school for granted.
Anyway, quite a few things happened these past days...on Wednesday, I got in my first car accident. First of all, I don't want to go around making excuses, but not driving for a really really long long long time tends to make you forget some traffic rules. Anyways, after picking Cindy and her sister up to go to the movies in my dad's van, I was on Patterson and i was gonna make a left-turn onto Gonzales and this other car from the oppisite direction who was going really fast (i think) came forward and clipped the right-back bumper as I was making the turn. I didn't even feel the collision, so i kept on going, until Catherine told me that we got hit. So then the other car and I basically drove around in circles trying to find each other until we finally found a spot to pull over. So when I got out, I saw that the damage wasn't so bad...it was just a little dent the size of a volleyball on the corner of the bumper. So a young Korean lady (driver) and her grandpa steps out of this NEW Toyota Corolla. What really suprised me was that they weren't furious, like you see people on the freeway. So the grandpa asks me in broken English if I was drunk (stop laughing!) and of course I said no, and then the driver asked me how old I was like I was still a little kid (shut up!), but I said I was 18. Cindy called her parents to come help take care of things cuz I have never done anything like this before, and neither has the other driver. I was also suprised to see that her dad wasn't as mad as I thought he would be cuz I had just got in an accident with both her daughters in the car. I think he calmed down after seeing the damage was only minor. After exchanging the info, my parents finally came, and they weren't mad either....(how did asian parents suddenly become nice?). I would totally understand why Cindy's parents wouldn't let me give them a ride for a while, I would do the same thing if I was in their position. Because I just felt horrible about the entire incident, I wanted to keep my mind off it, so I continued on to the movies to watch the Haunted Mansion with Emil, Bobby, Josh, Chris, Cindy, and Catherine.
Thanksgiving wasn't as big as last year, the usual people came: Stella and her family, Rich, and my grandma. This time Frank Brannan (Pancho Brannan) didn't come, which makes it all the more enjoyable....lol. So we ate an Asian version of Thanksgiving...don't ask, and played the traditional hide-and-go-seek with Stella, my brother, and Peter (yes, I know we're a little too old for that...but its a tradition everytime they come). Anyway, we had a good time and talked...etc. etc.
I just found, after being internet-free for 3 days, that Ayumi's new album is actually a mini-album called Memorial Address with just 8 songs on it. It costs like $30 cuz it comes with a DVD with all her PV's (Japanese music videos). But it's still kinda expensive just cuz its Japanese. Anyways here's the cover which I think is one of her best ones so far:

Current Song: Ayumi Hamasaki - UNITE!
Just 4 more hours until I'm out of this wretched place...my chemistry teacher just had to plan a test on the last day before vacation just cuz he can. And my chem class just happens to be the last class of the day which ends at like 6:30. So now I can't ditch it to go home earlier. Yeah....so I'm taking Chris back to Oxnard too. And this time, Pancho is taking the plane back home (how rich) just cuz its faster...lucky bastard.

Current Song: Ayumi Hamasaki - Independent
I woke up at 4:00 again...this time its not only because I stayed up till 5am, it's more like cuz I'm getting sick, lucky for me I have medicine that keeps it from getting any worse. Anyways, yesterday, I went with Chris and Cisco downtown to do some stuff. Chris had his Agent Smith sunglasses repaired at this one shop, the lady behind the desk totally dissed his glasses, although it was subtle, she said that those were very very cheap glasses and so she didn't charge him for the repair, instead she insisted that Chris buy REAL sunglasses from HER store. So then after we went to the post office where it took forever to wrap the packages. I didn't know registered mail was so complicated. The post office lady had to wrap the box with this sticky paper thing and then she stamped it like 100 times and put like 20 stickers on there cuz it was supposed to prevent tampering. It's probably due to the fact that it was being shipped to Israel, where the security is really tight. I think I'm gonna ship regular next time.

Current Song: Ayumi Hamasaki - evolution
Here is the Ayu song that I wanted you to hear Josh, just click on the link above...
My sore throat got worse today, I don't know how to get rid of it...any tips anyone? Everytime I drink or eat something people look at me all weird cuz I make this face like the food tastes horrible or something...oh well, they'll get over it. Not that any of you guys care, but when I listened to a new Japanese song today, I understood like 80% of the words, but I still can't put them together in sentences...I'm so proud of myself...lol. No, I'm not trying to be Japanese like most of you think, I just wanna learn the language.
Anyway, I'm off to the Promenade soon...gotta few things to buy and I gotta send that calculator.

Current Song: Mika Nakashima - FIND A WAY
Nothing goin on these few days...I'm gonna go to the Promenade and downtown tomorrow, gotta get some supplies. Oh, and I gotta mail the calculator I sold on eBay yesterday to Israel. By the way, Cisco's calculator finally sold for $41, I gotta mail that too. I've been a loner lately, I haven't gone to see anybody...only people I see around is Cisco and Chris. Oh well, can't wait till the weekend. Yeah!...then on Wednesday, I'm going home for Thanksgiving!

Yeah....(max-status) today made me pretty happy. First, I don't have math class tomorrow so I can relax today, and second, the TI-89 I'm selling on eBay is at $81.00 plus a $10.00 shipping/handling charge! I feel so rich now...j\k...I'm still poor cuz I'm just gonna spend that on Ayu stuff. I don't feel bad cuz the person who lost the calculator that I'm selling just left it in some random place where it can't be returned to him anyways...and I also figured that if I don't take it, someone else would and keep it for themselves, so might as well be me. I have joined the club of calculator-snatchers along with Chris who "found" and kept a TI-83, and Cisco who "found" a TI-86 (which is also on eBay too, but nobody is bidding on it)

Well, I did horrible on the midterm today...but the teacher said he was gonna curve it alot...so I guess it kinda balances things out. TGIF! Nothing much happened today except that Chris and I played pool for like 2 hours, I was so totally kicking his ass in the first game cuz I got like 5 balls in consecutively, but then my luck ran out in the next games and I was constantly missing balls, anyways it was fun. So Cisco and Jason introduced me to a game called Heroes III, it's kinda like Diplomacy (the "Borneman game"). I didn't find it too interesting tho, but it reminded me of the times I played Starcraft - Brood War for hours on end during high school. So now I'm addicted to the game again...hmm, I feel like playing right now...bye!

I'm so stressing over this midterm in math tomorrow...I feel like killing something. Now on the brighter side, this afternoon, I was walking to class and I saw this black Integra drive next to me and he was playing the song, Trauma from Ayumi's ayu-ro mix 3 eurobeat remix album. I don't know very many people who listen to her...so just to see another Ayu fan made my day.

Current Song: Mika Nakashima - Be in Silence
In chemistry today, I got to play with liquid nitrogen....I didn't know they would trust that stuff with us. I had fun though, I put my pencil in there and when I took it out, I dropped it on the table and the part that was frozen just shattered!! I didn't play around for too long cuz I didn't want the professor yelling at us.
Today was another indoor soccer day for my floor. All they basically do is try to hit each other with this big beach ball by kicking it. And if for some reason you get a penalty (touching the ball with you hands or hit a spectator), everybody who is playing gets to kick the ball as hard as he wants at the person who got the penalty while he is standing against the wall with his ass sticking out (sometimes the ball hits a very "painful part"). So today, when Cisco was playing, he had the ball in his hands when the RA's came in, so he just got off with a warning this time...LOL

Current Song: Ayumi Hamasaki - No Way to Say
Thank God for holidays, I hit my knee when playing raquetball yesterday so I could barely move...I'm probably gonna lay down all day. I finally got the No Way to Say single a couple days ago, the song is pretty good, all Ayumi Christmas pieces are addicting. Also in the mail, I got The Daybreak and evolution singles, they both had a crack in the cases....damn the post office!!...these aren't regular cases either, they have the record label, Avex, engraved on them...I guess some people wouldn't mind, but I'm trying to collect these so I gotta have them in mint condition. So I called the people who mailed them to me (yesasia.com) if I could have an exchange of the same product, but they said they would send me another jewel case....which is not what I wanted cuz they don't have the Avex symbol on it.

Current Song: Ayumi Hamasaki - Ourselves
Today, we wanted to go see Revolutions so Cindy told us to wait at a bus station...so we waited for like 30 minutes in the rain for the bus to pick us up, but it never came, so I walked over to the bus-schedule thing and finally realized that the particular bus we wanted wasn't on duty on the weekends...another Asian Blonde...lol, j\k Cindy. So she called Isauro (who has a car) to take us to the theatre, and it just so happened that we have an extra ticket, so we gave that to him as "payment" even though he already saw it. I still have no opinion on whether Matrix Revolutions is a good or bad movie yet, since I still gotta absorb all that information. It did leave alota questions unanswered and it proved that some scenes from the past Matrix movies were completely useless, just eye-candy I guess. So Isauro explained after the movie that the main characters of the movie represented characters from the Bible: Neo (Jesus), Smith (anti-Christ), Merovingian (devil), [Oracle, Archtect, and that spiky thing] (The Holy Trinity). So I might watch it again so that I can understand what the hell is going on.

Current Song: Utada Hikaru - First Love
This afternoon, Cindy, Austen, Meghan, Chris and I went downtown to buy advanced tickets to the Matrix for tomorrow at 4:30. I'm finally gonna see the movie I couldn't wait for it to come out, so today I'm gonna try to prepare myself by watching the first 2 Matrix movies. So after that we got on the bus again and went to the shopping center where Cindy and Austen went to Ralph's and Chris and I went to Best Buy to look at stuff...(I took alot of those ticket things from Imation stuff to I could get points to buy stuff online...lol).
So, here's the funny part, when we got on the bus to go back to school, there's this really cool lady bus driver who tells Chris that the bus is full as he is trying to walk on, of course she was kidding cuz there were only like TWO PEOPLE total on the bus at that time, so then she said to Chris, "What are you, a blonde???. There are only two freakin people on the bus!" LOL....Chris, another Asian Blonde. She was so cynical and sarcastic, cuz when we stopped at the main station, she sat with us and started telling us how STUPID people are these days...especially "those clueless college students"...lol, she reminds me someone I know back home...she's my favorite bus driver now...

Current Song: Do As Infinity - Tokumade
So Chris and I just came back from the Jay Leno performance...he was sooo funny!!!! Let's see...one joke was:
The 37 price of a stamp is such a great deal because the post office gets to take care of your mail for weeks and weeks and weeks....so it works out to less than a penny a day...
I know it sounds lame when i say it, but when you hear him say it in person it's much better. I'm so glad I went to that event tonight, even if it was $50 and I got to sit in the very back row, but it was well worth it (and all the money goes to a charity). I waited by his limo-truck thing and I was gonna ask for his autograph at the end but he was rushed into the car...but it was enough for me to see him up close (and his chin is really as big as people say it is...lol)
So after the performance, Chris and I went to VG's again and got 11 more bottles of Sierra Mist and the caps were: Chiefs, Lions, Cardinals, Lions, Panthers, Bears, Rams, Browns, Chiefs, Packers, and Giants...........So when matching them up with yesterday's bottle caps, we got a total of 7 hats now. So we're gonna give them out to Cisco (Raiders), Chris (Redskins), Victor (Browns), Josh (49ers), Jason (Rams), Cindy (???), and I'm gonna get the Giants. (Josh and Victor, gimme your mailing addresses) So when we match more up we'll give them to other people....so don't think youre left out, we just gotta finish the hundreds of bottles of Sierra Mists first before getting anymore. But we found a way around this too: Chris and I destroyed like 6 bottles of soda outside by shaking them up and throwing them to the ground as hard as we could (yeah, it got kinda messy) so yeah, fun times........

Co-written with Chris
Tonight Chris and I went to VG's, this is like the funniest thing:
On the Sierra Mist and the Pepsi bottles there is a contest to match two NFL teams and if you match those two, you can turn it in to get a cap with the name of any team you want on it.
So, we started this last week, and bought couple Sierra Mists and already had 5 different teams in our collection. And those were:
Packers, Colts, 49ers, Cowboys, Giants
Today, we used our extra meal plans to buy 13 more Sierra Mist/Pepsi bottles. Then we finally made a match...only ONE match...and you know what it was??? Guess!!!
The BROWNS!!!!
Yes...Victor's favorite team...now we were thinking that we should give him the cap for Christmas...
So tomorrow .... more to come
Current Collection:
Packers, Colts, 49ers, Cowboys, Giants, Packers, Seahawks, Panthers, Broncos, Dolphins, Jaguars, Eagles, Vikings, Browns, Lions, Jets, Browns, Cardinals

Current Song: Ayumi Hamasaki - July 1st
Damn! I just wrote this huge thing and it got erased cuz the school cant keep the freakin internet up...now here is the most I can remember of what i wrote...
On Saturday, after I came home from school, I went to LA to eat at a Japanese restaurant for my grandma's birthday. Now this restaurant happened to be in a shopping center where there was a jewelry shop doing some promoting by bringing in an extremely famous superstar from Hong Kong named Maggie Cheung. I didn't know who she was before I saw all the signs and heard people screaming her name. So she was in this award show thing accepting certificates from the mayors for being an ambassador of Ebel (a jewelry line), then after that she did an autograph session for like 3 hours. So since I didn't want to go grocery shopping with my parents, I decided to wait the entire three hours to get her to sign something. So when I got to like near the front of the line, they finally told us that we needed to present a VIP pass thing that you get in the mail for being a customer at that jewelry shop. So I ended up not getting her autograph...but I didn't really care that much cuz I really didn't know her before that day.
This weekend on Halloween day, Chris and Lladira came over to my house to bug us...Chris was dressed as Agent Smith from the Matrix and Lladira was Naiobi also from the Matrix. So we played with our AirSoft guns and shot stuff all around the house, lucky my parents didn't get mad. You guys can see the pictures on Chris's blog. And also Catherine, Cindy's sister, came by to say hi...i took a picture of her...she looked pissed, but oh well.
