So, as everyone already knows, there was an earthquake on Monday very near CalPoly. I'm pretty sure everything is fine there, I read an article on the news section of the CalPoly website that only a window broke somewhere and a few books fell off the shelves in the library. Call me crazy but I actually wished I was there during the quake, I never actually felt a strong one before...I just thought it would be fun, that's all. But I do hope everything in my room is fine, I don't think I left anything out to fall down and get damaged...I hope.
Today Frank (my infamous cousin) came to my house today, he actually acted more normal than usual, (I guess that would be called unusual for being normal) Anyway, we did the usual stuff: XBOX, talk etc etc....his mom (my aunt, duh) gave me and my brother presents, I hope its something nice. We got Frank a $50 gift certificate to Best Buy, you can't really go wrong there. So nothing really special to talk about, so you can ignore this paragraph all together... ^-^
Look at the time...it's Christmas!!!! Meeri Kurisumasu minasan!

Current Song: Ayumi Hamasaki - Because of You
Yeah! I gotta a laptop! I got one they don't even make anymore, it's the Sony VAIO PCG-FRV31 notebook. I think they're trying to get rid of this type cuz it sux or something cuz they're selling at a huge discount. It originally cost $1100 but it came with a $400 rebate, so you can do the math. It has a 2.4Gz Intel Celeron processor, 15" display, 40GB HD, 512MB DDR SDRAM, and a CD-RW/DVD drive. Sorry for "bragging", I'll stop now, I'm just so happy at the moment.
Anyways, I think I caught the flu, I got the shot like a few days ago and they say it takes 2 weeks to take effect, so it sux for me. All of a sudden this afternoon, I just get this horrible headache and I start sneezing alot, then I feel alota pressure in my sinuses and for some reason my eyes feel like they're gonna pop or something. But at the moment I feel fine, I'm just hoping that its just the allergies or something and it'll go away soon.
Let's see....Chris, Cisco, Brian, and I went to play pool twice this week. It was the Mexicans vs. the Asians again, I think we tied or something but it's mainly because Cisco and Brian kept on scratching on the 8-ball. I always made these weird shots that make it in the pocket that always confuses the other people.
Tomorrow I'm expecting Ayu's new album to appear at my front door, those damn UPS people don't work on weekends apparently.

56k sux! My parents canceled our cable connection when I left to school cuz I was the only one using it...ugh!
Anyways, Sunday was one of my best days of this year...I got to go to a Japanese store in Little Tokyo called Asahiya Bookstores, they basically have everything that you would want to have including japanese magazines, newspapers, books, manga, and of course CDs and DVDs. I bought myself Ayumi Hamasaki's 3rd album: Duty and Do as Infinity's new album: Gates of Heaven. I also picked up a few things for Cindy, I'm gonna pay for one of the albums as a Christmas present. Everything at the store is kinda expensive though, $35 for an album and $12 for a single, so I ended up spending like $150, and my parents got mad for spending so much, but they got over it.
That same day in LA, I went to Chinatown, and my parents insisted on buying those obviously counterfeit clothes like T-shirts and sweats, but my parents didn't care cuz "clothes are clothes", so we bought like 5 sets of sweats and when I got home and wore them the next day, they already tore on the seams. So thats $50 down the drain.

Current Song: Ayumi Hamasaki - M (Above & Beyond Edit)
I'm finally done with my finals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think I did pretty decent on my math final (thanx to Chris's and Cisco's "tutoring"). It's just this one part about related rates where I just blanked out. So I'm estimating that I got a low B or high C. My chemistry final is another story, first off, I thought the final was gonna be a 7pm, but right at 4 I decided to check the chemistry classroom just to be sure...and, well...they were just about to start the final. I think I was so freakin lucky that I checked, cuz otherwise I would just have gone to my room eating my sandwich and studying until 7. So the final was multiple choice, and it's not an easy multiple choice either! Since I spent all my time studying for math, I didn't study at all for chem, and I should get a bad bad bad score. After the class finished the final, I talked to some other people in the class, and it turns out that I wasn't the only one who found that test to be REDICULOULY DIFFICULT! But on the up-side, I took that class as credit/no-credit class (which means either you fail or pass, and they don't look at your grade), also I think that the teacher is gonna curve the test *hopes that no one got a 100%*
I'm going home Friday, tomorrow morning, so I gotta pack tonight. My brother told me to buy him a CalPoly sweater and a flag (the ones Mrs. Crawford has in her room) before I leave, so I bought the blue one with yellow writing on the front that says "CalPoly" (duh), and the flags were so freakin expensive ($25 and $15), I thought that they weren't gonna be anymore than ten bucks. So I just said screw them, Kevin could live without a flag. So yeah...I'm basically happy that finals are over...at this point I really don't care what grades I get.
On a random note, I just learned that the word "surprised" has two R's, I always spelled it "suprised"....how stupid!
I'm not a big Final Fantasy fan, but the video on FFX-2 of Yuna singing was really cool. Here's a picture:

Let's see...on Saturday, Chris and I watched "The Last Samurai". We were gonna watch it earlier with Cindy but she already went earlier. So when we were about to take off, I realized that by the time we finished the movie, the buses would have already stoped their rounds, so we rode our bikes there instead, it was really quick cuz it was basically all downhill. I didn't know the theatre was so close to school...everytime I take the bus to go downtown, they always take forever. BTW, the movie was great, I hope it wins an Oscar, and Tom Cruise's Japanese was...decent, it's pretty obvious that he didn't get that much accent training. After the movie was the worst, (remember what I said about the downhill part?) the uphill climb was exhausting...I'm in such bad shape.
So today and yesterday, all I've been basically doing is studying for math...I still have a few more days to study cuz the final is on Thursday. Tomorrow I have a final in engineering, its supposed to be really easy without much studying cuz it's just an intro class. And also on Thursday I have a back-to-back final on math and chem. And I got off lucky in my computer class because the teacher just gave us a take-home final...yeah!
Oh, I just saw the screenshots of Ayumi new PV (music video) of "Because of You" It has a really dark rock/punk-ish feeling to it, and I love it already. Anyways here's the pictures:

I haven't updated in days...not much happened since I came home. Basically it's "dead week" or the week before finals, and the school has been relatively quiet. I'm trying to study as much as I can but I get to easily distracted. So my basic plan for my calculus class is to try to at least pass the final with a B so I don't end up with anything lower than a C. But if I feel its hopeless I'll just fail the final so that I can take it again next quarter where it should be alot easier for me....this is what happens for not paying attention to Zambrano in Oxnard. I think I'm also gonna change my major to Industrial Technology, which is in the College of Business. According to the book it says "Industrial Technology emphasizes preparation for technical leadership responsibilities with a broad variety of industries including manufacturing, communication, transportation, and utility services."
Enough of the boring stuff...tonight, me, Chris, Cindy, and Austen ate at the Lighthouse for a Christmas dinner. The food was actually pretty good, (for once), except that jello thing they serve with fruit and this whip cream thing was nasty. Pancho was gonna eat with us except he found Jason and ate with him and this other girl.
Oh, I'm also making a website for one of my classes...don't expect much cuz it just has to satisfy a certain amount of things my teacher gave me.
My Lame Website By the way, I am in no ways complete.
Well, I'm going to bed now...the people on my floor are a little too noisy at 3am.
